Espact is privileged to be working with the Union Harvest companies in developing their policies and strategies in preventing corruption in their business space. In 2020, the Union Harvest companies revised their policies to combat bribery and corruption. The policies now incorporate clearly defined measures to prevent corruption in the business activities of the companies. Espact conducted the first training program to introduce the policies and procedures to the staff of the companies on 13 January 2022. The training is part of the companies’ commitment to preventing corruption in line with the new laws introduced through s. 17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009. The training explained the prevention measures and the role of staff in implementing them.
