Dr Chew Tek Ann (B. Agri. Science (Hons.) University of Malaya; MPhil University of Sussex; PhD (Universiti Pertanian Malaysia)). Formerly Professor in Agricultural Economics at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Dean, School of Business and Law, Inti College, Nilai and more recently, Academic Advisor to the School of Business and Accounting, Stamford College. He has published widely in international journals and was recipient of the Tun Razak Foundation Award for the Best Written Contributions in the Malaysian Economy in 1993. He was consultant to ACIAR (Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research) and the World Bank at different times. Post retirement, he served in the private educational sector, meeting the challenges and prospects of private higher education in this country.
