Education has undergone profound transformation by the new technology, not only in the delivery processes but also in more fundamental areas such as access to learning. Time and space constraints have been mitigated to such levels that any space at any time can be the locus for learning - or teaching. The technology also redefines basic notions about memory, language and creativity to an extent that to see the technology only as a tool for schools will be limiting.

This one day programme conducted as an interactive seminar examines some recent innovations on the WWW that aids self-learning and development. The course leader will demonstrate the usefulness of MOOC courses to teachers and introduce them to simple strategies to manage the immense knowledge that is on the Internet.
