Standards in Private Educational Institutions

Under s. 76 of the EA1996, the Minister may make regulations for the supervision and control of standards of private educational institutions. These regulations are now found in Education (Private Educational Institutions) (Standards) Regulations 1998 (P.U. (A) 219/1998). The regulations are concerned only with the physical premises of the educational institution and the use of such premises but not with educational standards.
